Is GW down for xMas?
I keep trying to log in and it gives me a "connecting" screen for about 1 minute and then it tells me that a request to connect to a DNS server failed.
netErr=26. is it just down for today because of christmas or is it just me? |

Its you, you have a problem with your DNS Server.
Just swith DNS servers. Go to Network Places, view your connection, go to properties, scroll down to the "Internet pro (TCP/IP)" option, and click properties. You should see an IP address field, and DNS server field. CLick the option to choose your own DNS Server. I use 4.2.2.1, with 4.2.2.2 as backup - those are public DNS servers. |

o ok thank you. It hasnt happened before and i dont know why it is now. It worked fine last night.
